Meyer Excavation

Generations of work. A standard that stays.

Meyer Excavation grew out of work that has run through the Southwest for generations. The company itself is built on more than 40 years of excavation, custom home construction, and commercial foundation work. That time was spent on highway construction, hotel foundations, and large civil jobs. The lesson was simple: the same standard belongs on a house pad and a pool as on a commercial site.

We stayed small on purpose. After the big work, the fit was single-family builds, custom homes, and the parts of a project that decide whether the house sits right. House pads. Pool excavation. Pool demolition. Cut, filled, and left ready for the builder.

Benjamin Stavrowsky is the founder. He runs Meyer Excavation and the custom-home work beside it, and he is the person on the job from the first look at the lot to the last pass on the pad.

Ernest Smith is the mentor behind the work. More than 40 years in excavation and construction, from highway jobs and hotel foundations to custom homes across the Southwest. He sets the standard the crew still builds to.
